For this project, i ended up being a PR freelance consultant. Following are two press releases for a Miami teen actor. Each was targeted for and picked up by specific publications, Miami Deco Drive and Palm Beach Daily News.
My strategy: the client wanted local exposure, and she had lived in both Palm Beach and Miami. As such, I identified two media outlets, and, considering the lean staff that newspapers have today, I wrote each press release in such a way that the editors could easily pick it up and use it with minimal work on their part.
